The start of CHRISC over age league

The start of CHRISC over age league

CHRISC over age league started the 24th October . The match was played at one of the best fields in Arusha which is Suye. It was between CHRISC Suye and Kaloleni, and started 4.30 pm. The match was very exciting and had a lot of action. Almost 100 people came to watch this fantastic game.

Both of the teams played good, and it was fair play. However Kaloleni won the
match 2-0. The first goal was a penalty, and the second was a well played goal.

Why CHRISC over age league?
The league was made to create a fellowship between CHRISC volunteers, and to make people more aware of CHRISC and their activities.

After the match, CHRISC media team interviewed the CHRISC Suye
captain, Joram Ernest

Joram, how was the game?
The game was great. We tried to win, but we lost
Do you think your team still can win the league?
Yes, I think we can win the league. But in our team winning is not the most important, just to have fun and learn from each other.

What do you think of CHRISC overage league?
It’s a good idea to start this league. Because it gathers many members of CHRISC together, and lets people have fun. Also it brings people together so we can create a fellowship with people outside our zone.

Do you have something you want to say in the end?
Yes, football is for fun and not just a competition, so even if we lost we had fun.
