Good football
Eager football players, sun, ice cream, Jesus and joy of sports filled the Suye football field on saturday, october 22. The CHRISC bonanza gathered 12 football teams of age under 14 years (U 14). In total 144 players took part. The guts and effort of the players was good, and they played a lot of good football. Most of the players played for 5 hours without eating. That shows a great joy for football! The winner team of the tournament was Hard Rock B, followed by Twins Bridge.

HIV/AIDS
The teaching this saturday was about HIV/AIDS. The teacher, Ibrahim Hassan, taught the players about prevention and causes of HIV/AIDS. The bonanza was organized by these CHRISC volunteers: Ibrahim Hassan, Joram Ernest, Paul, Boniphac, Åsmund Oltedal and Lasse Neslein.

Combination
CHRISC bonanza is a combination of football tournament and teaching. The themes of the teaching varies. Some examples of themes are HIV/AIDS, environment protection, drug abuse, leadership and evangelism. Before or during the tournament, all the players attend a seminary about a certain theme.

Educate youth
The main aim of the bonanza is to educate youth. This way the bonanza can help the youth to grow and develop in a positive way. Through playing football, the players also learn about cooperation and how to organize sports events.

During the tournament, we asked some participants what they think about the bonanza:
